Humble's "Conquer COVID Bundle" raises over £3m for charities fighting the coronavirus pandemic
With over 45 games on offer, Humble's latest "Conquer COVID Bundle" gives the gamers a chance to 'play their part' - all from the comfort of their home.
With a quarter of the world now living under some form of lockdown, it's safe to say we all have plenty of time on our hands.
The coronavirus crisis - for the most part - has brought out the best in all of us. Thousands of individuals and companies across the globe, all eager to help, have made marked efforts to battle the coronavirus.
Now, charity website Humble is the latest company to join gaming industry giants to fight against the coronavirus, by offering a massive bundle of games for a mere £25.50.

From the innovative first-person shooter SUPERHOT to cult classic favourite Undertale, Humble's latest package offers nearly £900 worth of content. ]This is just a small price to pay for a care package of award-winning games, boasting hours of gaming entertainment. Better yet, Humble is giving 100% of their proceeds to global organisations fighting COVID-19, such as Doctors Without Borders, Direct Relief, Partners in Health and the International Rescue Committee.
According to the Humble Bundle website, proceeds from the Conquer COVID-19 bundle will be dedicated to numerous causes, including "delivering protective gear to safeguard healthcare workers and providing medical care to infected patients."
It's worth noting Humble allows you to set a custom price on its bundles. This means, if you fancy the idea of contributing directly to relief efforts while still getting a little something for yourself, you could pay the full price if you really want to.
Some have already dug deep into their pockets to fight to cause. According to the Top Contributors section, several buyers have paid more than four figures. Better yet, one generous donor has chipped in $10,000 (£8,164.55) for the package.
All in all, there's certainly a lot of bang for your buck, with a strong variety of games, books and programmes to help pass the time.
What's more, Sony recently warned that hundreds of upcoming PS4 and PS5 games could face delays due to COVID-19's impact on global manufacturing pipelines. For that reason alone, perhaps there's no better time to get your teeth stuck into a new game - all while 'conquering' the pandemic from your own home.
